On March 18 , 2008, a week before Easter, the LCMS abruptly terminated Todd Wilkens and producer Jeff Schwarz and TOTALLY WIPED the Issues Etc. website archive of shows and articles . Why ? No reason has been given. (it is speculated that this is part of a "purge" of conservative, confessional Lutheranism from the LCMS)
