  • Hello sir I've watched a good amount of your videos so far and you've taught me a lot. I'm just getting my hands dirty in the forge and i've been doing everything solo thus far, learning how to build my own forge online. I keep feeling like i'm in over my head sometimes by messing up so many projects through trail and error, then reading about metals online and seeing theres so much to learn. I hope one day I'll find a seasoned smith who can teach me personally. Thanks for the vids

  • Very inspirational video, very wise words. Thank you sir.

  • Yessiirrrr you told the muthafreakin' truth Bo.....about taking the initiative mostly I was always told when I was an apprentice. And you right loyalty and good character is something the many do not get as they come into the construction craft. I am glad someone decided to tell the truth of the matter. I been a journeyman for about 5 yrs and been in the craft totally 9yrs now. I hope someone will apprecitate this clip. I do....

  • sir you are %110 right i wish more people realized this

  • ill be honost im 17 no one expects anything from me but a hand thrust and an eager face like im about to get something for free. i hate it i got my old ford truck after my grandfather died he left it to me so that it would help teach me responsibility just like the carpentry he taught me. i have been smithing for over a year now and i still love it now i am scrapping the bottom here using charcoal a freakin cast iron anvil and little to no working material but i still love this craft

  • best speech I ever heard on this subject. thank you for sharing it.

  • I Fully Understand were your coming from .I am Currently a Meat cutter Apprentice. The Main Person teaching me At work is the same Person who is Teaching Me Processing .I Have Been Working Under them for over 3.5 Years and Yes Loyalty is Key Not just to the Person But to the Craft. So thank you for Letting People Young and Old the Real Reason to Shut up and Listen. and Always do more then your told and Clean More then you need and Ask Questions when you need .
