  • so what size compression sack would you recomend for stuffing the whole rig in including bag....(mine is a down bag) just find its taking up too much space in the bottom of my pack the way i store it now(totally loose)

  • @piratesofsubspace I wouldn't recommend putting the down bag in with it. It would probably take a pretty big sack

  • Would like the open air. Have you used it in the cold weather? Do you know whether the super shelter works on a HH with a side enterence. Also I picked up a tip of using a caribiner and two repel rings, which makes set up real easy . really easy

  • @rockynanach I never used them in cold weather past 0C because of the other rigs I'm using now. Went to -25C with those. I'm not sure the over cover part of the SS would work with a zipper mod it could be a challenge trying to button it down on the zipper side. But one could modify it. Since I got the new rigs I've mainly just used the HH's for lounging in when trailer camping :o)Some day I will put in the mods and some whoopie slings most likely.

  • I've been using the HH deluxe for about a month straight last summer, its amazing. I have opted for the zipper model now, because at times you feel to enclosed and wou

  • @rockynanach I was considering the zipper mod as well. But I'm not in a rush to do it now. I went with a completely different setup last year. Check them out :o)

  • @Figure14HH Thanks buddy, and you're totally rite :o)The skins should have been big enough to keep in the pad in it.

  • Liked your 3 parter on the HENNESSY , I think it would be even better if the snake skins were large enough to let you leave the underpad attached all the time .

In stead of hooking it on and of every time you set up or strike your hammock ?

So when you find the perfect camp site , everything is in that snake skin all ready for setting up .

  • @Ksamurai101 Thanks :o) They make the new version with the side entry zipper. Much better in my opinion!

  • Excellent video, Im getting tired of finding a place to put my tent when we hike, and sleeping on the ground. Definitely going to order one of these very soon

    Thank you
