Opening number from our 2008 student show. Featuring Lauren as the Shamadan dancer, Guenevere and Danielle as Bride and Groom, Hips Afire! as the drummers, and Lotus Arts students as wedding guests.

The first song is Dokku el Mazaher, the traditional Zeffa song, from Jalilah's Raks Sharki 3.

The second song is 'raks al shamadan' from one of the Nesma CDs.

The third song, where everyone dances, is Saharni, by Najwa Karam.
