Garden Hills is a historic Atlanta neighborhood platted in 1926. Located just south of the "Buckhead Village", it is bound on the north by Pharr Road and on the south by Lindbergh Drive. Lovely tree-lined streets such as Rumson Road, Bolling Road, Pinetree Drive, and Brentwood Drive exemplify the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the area. These streets run between Peachtree Road and Piedmont Road, each major thoroughfares that offer a wide variety of amenities and define Atlanta's urban fabric.

Garden Hills Park, the centerpiece of the Garden Hills neighborhood, is a gathering place for friends and families. During the summertime, the pool is full of kids, moms and dads. The community center welcomes neighborhood meetings, parties and musical events. An open field is the site of soccer games, kite flying, Frisbee and other activities. Highlighted annual events include the neighborhood ice cream social, the Garden Hills Yard Sale, the Garden Hills Gala. The Garden Hills Neighborhood Foundation (www.ghnf.org) supports the city-owned park.

The Atlanta International School, Garden Hills Elementary School, and Christ the King School are all part of the neighborhood. These schools along with local churches such as Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, The Cathedral of St. Philip and Christ the King Catholic Church boast impressive facilities for worship, neighbor meetings and sports. The collection of these churches, schools, along with nearby dining and shopping truly make Garden Hills Buckhead's most walkable and central neighborhood.

  • Thanks for your message. It is a beautiful house. We will ad to our footage in the coming weeks. There is also more photos at our flickr account - but not sure if we have this property there.I live in Garden Hills as well and walk/run by the house often. Best, George (Heery Brothers)

  • The house located at 320 Brentwood Dr, Atlanta 30305 is the first house ever built in historical "Garden Hills" It's directly across the street from Sunny Brook Park. I was surprised and sorry that you didn't include it in this clip. I grew up in that house. It's probably the most recognizable house in the whole area.
