  • Os odiooo, sudamperios.

  • @Xunkun It's always harder to kill someone you see as a person rather than a target; that's why the show takes pains to humanise the opposing sides. In war people tell themselves that their fight is noble, that their enemy is evil and deserves to die, but the truth is always less clear-cut. Simoun shows this quite clearly. No one side is wholly right, nor entirely evil.

It's a story about a lot of different people caught up in a terrible situation; I don't think the show passes judgement.

  • Hell, one of our "heroes" even makes a *point* to say 'it's hard to kill your enemy when you can see their eyes.'

If you think about it, the protagonists's nation is kinda evil, keeping Green technology private, forcing other nations to become industrial wastelands, and the Magical Gender-Transformation Spring a private Nationalist keypoint, forcing other nations to make their otherwise-all-female population male by means of drugs and surgury...

  • I liked the shoujo-ai, but the characters are often hard to relate to; they come off as callous, self-centered jerks. I had more sympathy for the "enemy nation", who just want to fix their part of their world and save their people from the diseases of a polluted land sing the eco-friendly technology of the Simoun--- which the hero's home nation has used to build an unquestioned theocracy, involving training little girls to commit mass murder with acrobatic light shows.

  • @MoltresRage check the credits at the end of the video.
