AT DEMI'S HOUSE
Selena: (walks in Demi's room)
Demi: Hey.
Selena: (throws herself on Demi's bed) Hi.
Demi: Did you talk to him?
Selena: Yeah.
Demi: And?
Selena: I don't know. I'm so confused.
Demi: About what?
Selena: (sits up) Everything. I mean, how did this even happen? Me and Nick were always careful.
Demi: (shrugs) Maybe it just..Happened.
Selena: No, it's cuz I'm just bad luck. (puts a pillow over her face)
Demi: No you are not, Selena.
Selena: (takes off the pillow) Demi, yes I am! My parents are dead, I'm pregnant, and I'm only 16! (starts crying)
Demi: (goes over and hugs her) It'll be okay, Selena.
Selena: I have no idea what to do.
NEXT DAY AT NICK'S HOUSE
Nick: (sitting on his bed with his face in his hands)
Selena: (walks in) Hey.
Nick: (looks up) Hey. (silence)
Selena: (takes a deep breath) I'm gonna give it up for adoption.
Nick: What?? Why?
Selena: Because, I want us to be together.
Nick: (gets up) Selena, with or without this baby, we'll always be together.
Selena: I know, I just- I wished this had never happened.
Nick: Well it did.
Selena: (looks down)
Nick: (hugs her)
Selena: (whispers) Do you want to keep it?
Nick: It's up to you. This is your baby.
Selena: No..It's our baby.
LATER THAT DAY
Selena: (waiting in the hospital lobby with Nick)
Dr. Grant: (comes out) Selena Gomez?
Selena: That's me.
Nick: I'll wait for you.
Selena: Okay. (kisses him)
Nick: Good luck.
NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL
Demi: Hey! So did you go to the doctor?
Selena: Yeah.
Demi: How was it?
Selena: Awkward! She kept asking me all these questions like when was the last time I had sex and what kind of symptoms I had. She should know right? She's a doctor.
Demi: Yeah. Did she say if it was a boy or a girl?
Selena: No. It's not fully grown yet.
Demi: Oh. Are you keeping it?
Selena: Yup. Me and Nick.
Demi: Awh, congrats! (hugs her)
Selena: Thanks, but this whole thing is gonna be really hard for me.
Demi: I know, but you'll have me and Nick with you every step of the way. (smiles)
Selena: Thanks, so what's happening between you and Joe?
Demi: We're official! So let everyone know. (smiles big)
Selena: (laughs) Okay, I'll be sure. (smiles)
Joe and Nick: (come up behind thier girlfriends and kisses them)
Selena: Wow, did you guys plan that?
Nick: Noo....(laughs)
Joe: (laughs) Hey Selena, congrats on the...you-know-what.
Selena: Thanks, but who told you?
Joe: Nick. But we were gonna have to find out sooner or later. You live with us remember?
Selena: Oh. Yeah, your right.
Joe: So, when are you gonna tell my mom and dad?
Selena: Soon.
Joe: Oh, okay. Well I gotta get to class. Later.
Demi: Uh me too. Joe, wait up!
Selena: (laughs to herself) They officially started dating today.
Nick: (laughs) Yeah, Joe couldn't stop talking about it.
Selena: (smiles)
Nick: (kisses her)
Selena: (deepens it) I needed that.
Nick: (smiles)
AFTER SCHOOL
Selena: (playing cards with Joe, Demi and Nick in the basement of Nick's house)
Demi: Hey, homecoming's coming up in a month.
Selena: Seriously?
Demi: Yeah! I'm already looking for a dress.
Selena: (laughs) Why? You have tons of time.
Demi: I know, but I'm just excited. (smiles at Joe)
Joe: (smiles back)
Selena: Well, I'm not going.
Demi, Joe and Nick: WHAT?
Selena: (stares at them with wide eyes) Guys, I'm pregnant, remember? I'm probably gonna be more stressed out then I already am in another month. And loud music, sweating and yelling are just gonna make it worse.
Demi: Welll, you could just sit down until a slow song comes on.
Selena: Thanks, but I don't wanna sit down for an hour watching all my friends have fun.
Demi: Sel, you HAVE to come. It's homecoming!
Selena: Ehh, I don't know. I'll think about it.
Nick's mom: (overhears Selena saying she's pregnant- puts her hand over her mouth) Oh my God..
