  • o thats genius. i pretty much got the same set up as you. you should do a quick vid on how to use the uc33 to its fullest. like show lil secrets like that effect and stuff. do you by any chance know how to use its built in effects? ive been mixing on it for a year and still havent figured it out haha!

  • i didn't know the uc33 had built in effects. if you are talking about the effects in ableton, i may do a video on that later

  • hey whats that scratching effect you use in min 7?

  • basically it is just a delay send activated on one channel in addition to throwing that channel's volume slider up for a second.

  • nice simple video!

one question: I have a M-Audio Firewire 410 and Powerbook G4 and I have never got it to work with Ableton...always glitches and cracks in the sound...got any tips for that?

whats your sample setting and RAM size?

  • got that problem too. it's not a very solvable problem at this point. it is just an issue with m-audio i believe.

  • 7:25 it's not that smooth

  • first of all you can dj on the fly with ableton and a midi controller. secondly, you have more remix capabilities with ableton than with a straight dj set up which lets you manipulate more. i can buy a track on beatport and listen to it myself. i go to a club to hear a dj's interpretation of an original. do you consider sasha a dj? i assume you don't. i dont know where you play or who you promote, but you obviously don't appreciate the end result...new ideas.

  • very nice would like to download that mix?

  • i usually dont comment a lot... and i know you made this video quite some time ago... but i would like tell you i really enjoyed this video you made! keep the music alive & much love!!

  • good job, definitely using technology the right way, midi mixer with ableton, like it, obviously not taken away of other mixing styles, this is a nice kool way of mixin with one hard ware and one software together, keep it up!

  • Good job :) but how they sayin' below - it's hard to see what is goin on uc33 , ohter than that - " A + " tutorial , man.

what's names of tracks that you used? let me know asap cause i just keep listening to that & i want to have it in my player :)

  • Ableton has an Export Audio file mode..that just Sucks!! Reason is wayy better!

  • zzzzzzzz solidly boring!

  • I agree key clash but I dont think it sounds bad

  • i don't want to sound like a co"k but, the tracks sound awful together, theres a massive key clash.
