Mario Kart Wii - 50cc Mushroom Cup Grand Prix [3 star rank]

Person: Hello all!!! Thank you for stopping by to watch my next installment of videos where i, person13nebur, will be showing you my journey in acheiving a 3 star ranking in Mario Kart Wii!!!

Viewer: OOOOOOOOO!! AAAAAAAHH!!!! EEEEEEE!!!

Person: I know, it is quite fascinating...
As this series progresses i'm sure you'll have some question as to how you too may be able to obtain 3 stars in a cup. So here are just a few some tips that may help further you toward this goal!!! :-D

~In order to get 3 stars in any cc you should meet these minium requirements:

1.) Get 1st place in EVERY race so that your points are at the maximum of 60.

2.) Don't drive off road for too long.

3.) Try not get hit my items thrown by cpu characters or collide with any fixed structures on the course.

4.) Don't fall behind 9th place for too too long. You will not be penalized for doing so as long as long as it is for a short time.

~Now here are some tips on ensuring you get the 3 stars:

1.) Hiting cpu characters with items will give you an advantage. it will also prevent them from catching up to you if you're in first with a pretty far lead; especially if you get hit with a spiny shell you'll be able to recover without dropping places.

2.) Try not to fall off the track. Doing so can allow a huge gap between you and first place. There may also be a penalty for falling off a track a certain amount of times, though i am not entirely sure.

3.) Here's the big myth that everyone seems to think. In that dodging a spiny shell will get you browny points for getting 3 stars. This is not true. Dodging a blue shell will only help your overall time, which in turn allows you to finish the course faster. But if you break any of the '3 star main requirements' then there is a possibility of still only gettting 1 or 2 stars instead of 3.

how do you make the shell and other items fall behind your cart but still hold onto the cart?

@weedsful After getting an item from an item box all you have to do is press and HOLD ON TO the button that you use to throw the item. As soon as you let go of the button the item you have trailing behind you it will be thrown/used. This works with every item except a blue spiny shell. Hope this helped.
