  • would i have no dash lights also

  • @rolonte2010 The ignition switch will not affect the dash back lighting. It could affect the dash warning lights but if this were the case you would have a lot more issues.

  • I have a 2003 Envoy and this fixed the problem. I never would have dreamed it was the ignition switch. I did however replace the blower resistor first thinking that would solve the problem which began by #5 blower setting not working. Then no # 1,2,3,4, went out. About that time the ABS and brake idiot lights came on and after watching this video I knew what to do. Sure does save a lot of money by not taking it to a service dept. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!

  • @SparkysAnswers I understand, thanks a lot Sparky your answers really works, thanks again.

  • @toliro9 More than likely you have an actual ABS issue that needs to be diagnosed. I would start by checking or having the ABS system checked for codes.

  • @SparkysAnswers So what could be the problem? i have the BRAKE & ABS lights on and sometimes when i start the truck in the morning the lights are off but not even 5 minutes turned on again, what could be the problem?...

  • @toliro9 Your Sonoma is a different beast and does not have the same type of ignition switch.

  • @SparkysAnswers Sparky thanks a lot, the connector was under the carpet thats why i couldnt find it. My truck has the same problem, the ABS and BRAKE lights are on and i think its the same problem of this truck but what is the name of that black square that you removed, how can i find it and where? I will thank your answer.

  • @toliro9 It is under the driver's side of the dash. Many times the lower dash cover has been removed and reinstalled and it will be tucked up in the dash somewhere. Some people are too lazy to bolt it back where it is supposed to go.
