The Germans took alot of photos at the early stages of the war. They all show them well dressed and healthy. All the photos of them skinny and dead were taken after the liberation of the camps.

@jrwel14 And going back to your comment about the homicide, you can't blame the Germans for the people who starved it if was the Americans and the British who were destroying the supply trains taking food and medicine to the camps. The Germans fed their prisoners well, but by then they couldn't even feed their own people. Women had to prosititute themselves to the Russians in order to get the food they needed to live.

@jrwel14 pellets to sublime into a gas? Realistically, alot longer than the 10-15 minutes it took to gas the people inside. Furthermore, you would know that HCN can poison someone through their skin, not just their clothing, and it takes several hours to properly air out the chamber and clean it for the next use, lest people be accidentally poisoned.

Now, if you knew anything about HCN and the Holocaust, you'll know that the Germans apparently, after putting the jews into the chamber, threw PELLETS of HCN into the chamber through the (as we know, non-existant) holes in the roof. @jrwel14 A report from a survivor of the Buchenwald camp wrote that, until the very end of the war when food supplied to the camps ceased coming, the weekly food rations for the inmates were the same as the basic rations from the German civilian population: Meats, breads, cheese, butter, soup, etc. You can find it in 'The Buchenwald Report'. Now, feeding, delousing, giving medical treatment to people in a 'deathcamp' is a paradox of the highest degree. Now, if Auschwitz was a work camp

If you want a more immediate answer, it was Serbia who started the war by assassinating the Archduke. Britain and France declared war on Germany, effectively bringing the world into conflict with Germany. In neither cases was Germany the cause of the war, but rather dragged into it.
