Harvest is one of Neil Best albums ever, and Words is also one of his best ever songs.
It was the seventies and this amazingly bright and eccentric young man came into rock's scene like a hurricane, chanting words, and here we are in the years while he's still rocking in the free world,

Neil you may ge tired of doing your old stuff, buts its keeping us (read as millions) sane in our darker moments. Ive loved these notes for 40 years and play them to pull me thru.

Everybody seems to write appropriate things, with a lot of knowledge about this and that on music and Neil. I don't know enough to participate this big debate, i'm an old punker whatever. Yet this song is so fucking amazing, and the whole album is. And Neil is, too.

its incredible how true his modern performances sound. even levon helms band sound tinny and cant hold on to the organic old sounds. i think having ben keith in his band up until last year was a major factor in neils authentic sound.

This is insanely beatiful song. I've had some hard times lately. There are several friends who got kicked out at work etc.. It has nothing to do with Neil Young or anybody else.. But listening this made me cry my heart out.. It's just what i needed.
I always end up to listen Neil when the hard times comes..
