I'll stay with D-Storms free LWSN Gui or start up layout since I have too boot up every machine after another (only one keyboard/mouse/screen for all).
On the other side. Thats onyl good if all Computers have the same speed.
I think SN balnances the frames depending on what is done so far. So that each machine is finished at about the same time. Dosent it?

No, ScreamerNet is is not intelligent in any way, shape or form. When one computer has finished a frame, it starts up on the next available frame.

So Computer 1 does 200 Frame and Computer 2 and 3 also?
BTW. You don't need a switch / hub for conecting Computers (just for rendering) if you've got 2 LAN (Wich most Workstations and Servers have) conections on N -2 Computers.

It all depends on how fast they are. The faster the computer is, the more frames it will process compared to the slow ones. ScreamerNet does not play favorites. If your slowest computer is ready for another frame and you have only one frame left, ScreamerNet will cheerfully have your slowest computer do the last frame. When this happens to me I abort and render the last frame manually on my fastest machine. :)
