@frantic29 Look even in Alaska the law is any center fire round is legal for big game that means even the 25 auto is legal if your stupid to try it.
Not every state has your states laws .
Oregon , Washington both you can use even the 223 for dear and many use AR15,s now days for deer they work so well kept with in the range of the 223 and good bullets it kills deer like lightning .
Use the 22-250 with heavy bullets like 60 grain and up it is amazing killer on deer.

@Hincesti07 No. Just saying in all the states I have hunted in the smallest legal caliber is .25 caliber so seeing someone deer hunt with a 22-250 is strange so I was just curious, not trying to be a dick. Also, didn't realize a state would be dumb enough to not have a hunter orange law.

ha people are getting soo pissed ( cough yalokin 1996 ) why? it is very natural for animals to hunt other animals and if you dont know by now humans ARE animals so there is nothing wrong with us hunting OK? well as long as you eat it of course, then its not true hunting its just sport
