Getting ready for the gliding season at the Vancouver Soaring Association (VSA) at Hope, BC, Canada is not a minor undertaking, and relies on the help of many. What impresses most when doing this in the spring of every year is the incredible power of the wind. Only a light breeze is needed, and yet the cover, which on it's own already weighs more than quite a few men can carry, needs about 15 to fly it over the hanger frame - all of them straining on the ropes. It's team work at it's best.
