@Stig1138 PROG PUNK
-
Well, whaddya mean? "Punk" in the sense of socially aware lyrics, because "The Wall" and the previous Pink Floyd album "Animals" are very socially aware. Nick Mason himself actually was very pleased that something like Punk Rock developed. However, neither of those albums belong in the Punk Rock "genre". Too Progressive in sound.
Well, enough being a jackass. I really like the song, and there's a lot of clarity. Sounds great for being so "raw."

I see what you mean, I never noticed. I've no idea if the Skids did that deliberately or not. But it was their first logo, and punk was always out to shock people. They even wore Swastikas at the start, but they soon go rid of them when neo-Nazi groups started trying to get involved with punk.

For some strange reason I can't stand the sound of singing children. And they were copying Pink Floyd and "The Wall". Not very punk, was it ?!
