thanks! i presume you mean the dsc-t700. which is also an amazing camera, but for different reasons. main feature of t700 is its internal memory of 4gb and a touch screen. so its a portable photo album. it is very compact. but only 10 megapixels. the canon g9 is a small step down from a dSLR. 12+ megapixels, additional lens/flash attachments and much greater functionality. no internal mem, but sdhc cards are so cheap now. if you want to do more than point and shoot, G9 is the best money can buy.

so do u think its a better camera than the sony cyber shot i need a new camera for my vacation in december and i was wondering what are the BEST digital cameras out there. Cool video.
