Dante continues to explore the castle filled with demon puppets/marionettes. The red ones are called Bloody Maris and are stronger than the marionettes. Just a little advice when playing this game. Have fun lol. This game is actually easier than DMC3. Trust me. I know.

oh and i forgot to say has anyone else wondered why in the cutscenes he can kill demons with one bullet but in the game (even on easy) but while you are playing you have to shoot the hell out of them

@hitmanequalsedathmac That will make the game boring and too easy killing everything in one hit. Might as well make a crappy game with no challenge.

@hitmanequalsedathmac I guess so but it's just a cut scene which adds story to the game. You can even argue about why Dante never runs out of bullets and I can go on and on about all the arguments. :D

@dragon32889 Yeah, Dante can power up his shots with his own demonic energy like for example in DMC3 but other than that the metal projectiles coming out of those guns are what I wonder.

Okay, Dante can take the Devil sword (or whatever it is called) yet he dies after like 5 hits from rusty dull puppeteer blades? Isn't the Devil Sword (or whatever it is called) supposed to be like a million times better then any other yet it needs to whack about a puppet 10 times for it to die? Yeesh.. and StygianDawn has a point.. the creators made a great game, but they should of thought it through.

@UrasceTheBadArtist If you didn't know, those puppets are under powerful demon energy. And as of his sword, it gets more powerful after he defeated his brother vergil wich the sword became sparda.

@hitmanequalsedathmac For the same reason that, in other videogames, the character who spend the game getting shot and didn't die goes down with one single bullet in the cutscene, because it would be too boring just watch the whole process, besides it would kill the drama.

I see there is people complaining that Dante in cutscenes (story) is very powerful but in gameplay he's weak and can't kill simple puppets.

That's why it's a game...if all puppets or monsters were easily killed in gameplay then they could just make a movie instead of a game.

In a game YOU PLAY and noone says it will be easy.
