Some oversplits training and another request to see me hold handstand using a wall. For me using the wall is about quality. The wall is preventing me from losing my handstand so when I'm holding against the wall, I'm really focusing on the form and technique. Pushing up, locking my elbows, squeezing all my muscles tight and keeping my feet together. When I feel my form is starting to be compromised, I go ahead and come down. Again, for me I don't see any reason to hold handstand on the wall when I lose form because it doesn't help me improve.

    your handstand is smack next to the wall! can you help me out? if a person can't go all the way into the wall, what is the source of impedement (closed shoulders maybe?) and what is the remedy? (is the shoulder stretch on the wall you have in your backbend video the relevant thing?) i'd apprreciate the advice, there's no proffesional over here that can help me out....

    You are exactly right. If you cannot get all the way against the wall the problem is in your shoulder algnment.. The shoulder stretch in my backbend video is the stretch you need to do .Also rember to keep your head down in handstand.You have a very good eye for things.

  • Wow I have been waiting for you to post a Handstand training video. Will doing the Wall Handstand help me correct the alignment? In my video even though I can balance my low back is arched and hollow. I am trying but I can't find how.
