Sorry Mark, I did not realize what I was doing. Your video just struck me funny. Maybe it was the music. I hate it when punks make fun of what other people carry, and I did not mean to do that. Whatever works for you and gets you out in the backcountry is great. I carry stuff that would make any ultralighter cringe I'm sure. My trail name is "Pack Rat".....need I say more. Again, please accept my apology for the tasteless comments. I hope to run into you on the trail sometime.

This is funniest video on youtube! We have all bought unnecessary gear, but this one takes first prize. A backpacking cot......hahahaahhaha. It only weighs 5 pounds, and takes 2 guys an hour to set up. AHH HAHAHAHAHA ......And then it won't even fit in the tent..oooooo hahahahahah ...Thanks guys...Comedy gold! Try some leaves under your ground cloth next time.

Hey that is ok. I used to think that guys that used a trekking pole were sissys... now guess who has one and wouldn't want to hike with out it.. GRIN! Now it's me that is the ..... times change. We do a lot of backpacking and Royal Rangers (church boyscouts) Since I made that video I have slept on that cot on 5 different backpacks. It's good stuff. I have 4 other high end thermorests...This cot beats them all.

Hey I used to ,,, would agree with you. Yet I have one and I love it. Wouldn't leave it at home anymore. I had two guys ask me about it this week. Go ahead and sleep on the ground. I have for many years. When you can afford a 225 dollar cot go buy one and you will be grinning right along with me. The cot works best under the tent. By the way... its 2 lbs 12 oz. worth every ounce.

Buck up son. I will bring the camera crew next time. For now. You will have to settle for a head cam strapped on to a helmet in a dirty ole bat cave. Or buy some of that motion sickness pills and wait 20 minutes before you watch it again. GRIN!
