@fuckchops PS - poignant RE: the gentrification of K'rd...it seemed a lot more 'bustling' back then...an Esquires was opened on K'rd the other day. Jeez.
I picked the Songs from the Front Lawn up on a High school trip to NZ in 1991. All the way from Canada to Auckland, and they have been on of the biggest influences in my life. yeah that was 17 years and I was a kid, but you know there is no soundtrek to life like the front lawn. the conchords have nothing on them....
Hah they have torn down all the buildings on the OTHER side of K Rd. John Hartles is gone; DTR is gone; Warnocks RIP; St Kevins Arcade is still rocking on!! This is brilliant; FOTC can eat their Walkshorts!
Brilliant...

In my opinion... The Front Lawn were awesome. Flight of the Conchords are also awesome. Interesting that people feel the need to make the comparison.

That was neat. How can one watch a not so 'youtube' compressed version?

I know what you mean. don Mcglashan has been one of my all time music heros. He's brilliant. I actually did turn 28 on Takapuna Beach too.

Uhh. That's it, isn't it. The guy kicks the other guy and starts it off again. Seems finished to me.
