I was a Premie, but I never thought Maharaji was God. An interesting person, someone who offered a method (meditation techniques) for centering and calming yourself. But God, nah. He was a greedy kid who was not bright enough to see how that turned off people as it presented him in a very materialistic light. He and his handlers were naive about Western culture, but not dumb enough to miss cashing in big time.

Yes I was too and no I never believed he was God but nearly every other premie did and they're still trying to get new believers under false pretenses and false claims. What year(s0 were you involved?

Got 'Knowledge' in London, summer of 1973, returned to Chicago later that year, abandonded any association with the movement in 1977.
