I think that is very likely. If USA were to withdraw while the Iraqi government haven't become completely stabile, Iran may invade with the pretext of being a helpful neighbour. Once they're there, I doubt they'll leave.
Also, the foreign (pakistan, lebanon, syria etc) insurgents in Iraq will move on to Afghanistan and the fight there will get harder.

Stupid reporter, the general just explained that they can't reduce the number of soldiers in Iraq.

6000 in 4 years lets calculate and sugest they want a 400.000 army again as it was before the invasion.
It will take 267 years!!!
