Just because he is the director of IMF doesn't mean he is to be hated. He fired a third of the employees after his arrival and cut salaries and fat-cat pensions, this kind of stuff wouldn't be published in the American press. He is a socialist reformer who stands against exorbitant investment bank bonuses and the over powered upper class. He stands for sustainable growth and a less burdained middle class.
