On this episode of Phil's Fitness VLOG we cover the kettlebell Side Swing. Exercise instruction as well as proper safety considerations are included. Sorry the video and editing are pretty raw, but it gets the job done! My first upload!
Good question. I would say start with something light enough where you are able to establish proper form. I believe Pavel recommends a 16K (35LB) KB for a male who is somewhat trained. I started with a 16K and at first it was a little bit heavy, but I did grow into it. You could be more on the conservative side and get a 12K. If it turns out the 12K was too light, you can always challenge yourself with more reps and shorter rest periods. Remember, safety is key. Thanks!
Phil, this was a really good first video. Thanks for going into detail and breaking down the movements. I really liked the slow motion you did at the beginning. That really helps get a good visual of the movement. Hope you make more vids.
