  • My Grandad was in world war 2 as a Canadian soldier. My Grandmother told us that she was glad that Grandad had altzimers during his last few years of life because he forgot what he saw. He never told us what he saw even when we asked. He just got a sad look in his eyes and said it was not a goodly thing to talk of and God would have been sad and changed the subject For a farm boy from Alberta to see this would have been worse then any horry story any Hollywood director could have even imagined.

  • This scene is based on the liberation of the Kaufering IV subsidiary of the Dachau concentration camp. Let this scene be a reminder of the horrors of persecution and the reason why we cannot forget the evils of hate

  • As the episode states, the reason I am joining the USMC is to keep this from happening again. It is so easy to forget the horrors of the Holocaust because "it was just some thing that happened to some people far away a long time ago." NO this shit happened!

  • @jgarofalo11 Agreed with you, Humanity has such wonderful ways to show how evil we can be and sometimes even with Hollywoods cash on the barrel head ways it can benefit a lasting lesson for the rest of us and atleast put a human face on what has and could happen.

  • @RenegadeRoach point

  • @TheKrustaceox the expected casualties for an attack on Tokyo, which was planned for March 1946, was in the hundreds of thousands for both sides. You tell me what is better? If you had a chance to end the war right now to save millions of young people's lives. Or having an all out struggle for the top dog, killing millions of soldiers and civilians alike.

  • @TheKrustaceox You're a fucking idiot.

  • @ZuliBlade coming from a Naruto/Call of Duty kid, this is a compliment. Thank you.

  • never look away and never forget these horrors. i still remember the first day i saw this, i very rarely cry. i broke down and wept the whole time and nearly vomited. i've seen pictures and other films depicting these unspeakable places, but this just made me cry. and i cry every time i see it.

  • @TheKrustaceox I don't think you know much about war.

  • @jgarofalo11 I think its a lesson for us all to remember the past and with hope prevent this from happening again.

  • 4:29 - 4:48 most heart wrenching moment I've ever seen
