Very cool. My brother has just become a paraplegic in Oct and I haven't seem him do a floor transfer so that's why I clicked it. Very inspiring.

Ah this is the method I use. The most important bit is to put your knees in a diamond shape. Soles of feet facing each other. That way when you lift, legs naturally put your ass into the chair. But it is tough. Need strong arms and back muscles.

Excellent. I'll try that technique the next time I fall out of my chair. I hope I can get my fat rear on to my foot platform.

try working with a physiotherapist for you to develop stronger muscles, and have a better upper body strength :)

Neat, still can't do that myself, and I've been in a chair since 2000. Gotta lose some pudge. :-(
