Double Nunchucks performance at Cal State Eastbay. I am injured once again, so I am not going to be doing anything too fancy with my sprained ankle. I am also not an XMA style martial artist, so you won't be seeing me throwing my nunchucks in the air or doing crazy flips....not that it isn't cool...it's just not my style.

  • Very cool demo. What do you mean you put 2 extra links hang in the middle? Do you mean 2 extra links inside the top middle? Or do you mean 2 extra links in the very middle of the tube length wise?

  • I mean 2 extra links in the very middle of the tube (they're hidden in the nunchuck themselves). These hanging "extra" links dangle in the middle of each nunchuck creating the sound you hear. Without them, they would have been silent. So essentially, each nunchuck is like a bell.

  • howd did you make them. I wanted light aluminum chucks for this sort of thign but when i look online I cant find anything as cool as what u have. I wanted somethign that didnt look way too fancy but looks like yours basically. howd you get them?

  • Well being illegal to purchase them in the state of California, it's impossible unless you have a business account with a martial arts distributor....even then, I wasn't satisfied with the quality.

  • So basically I found an old cot, cut that up to be about 10" (about the length between my elbow and wrist). The chains I purchased from Home Depot. Drilled holes near the top to put the rivet to hold the chain to the actual nunchuck. The rivets were a little difficult to find the correct size to match the diameter of th pipe.

  • where did u get these nunchaku

  • I made them myself. Customized to be loud which is achieved by leaving about 2 links extra to hang down the middle of the pipe. They're also extremely light because they're made out of aluminum. Added grips to keep them from slipping as well, but only one side because it mutes the sound quite a bit.
