about before he did the film the privilage in late 66 early '67. by then mike D'abo was lead singer , olivia d'abo is an actress and mike's daughter who starred in the wonder years as karen arnold, kevin's sister. Also at this time klaus voorman who was known for drawing the beatles revolver album in 66 also joined the manfreds. Manfred incidentally is the guy on the keyboard not the lead singer and he's from south africa. Now the newbies are caught up...

Nice to see the Who performing Baby Don't you Do it. Pete has actually got John to move at 0:10!

1966 and jones is slipping through a v v slow interview...the interviews got slower and more deliberate as the 60s wore on....as the years dragged, the words did. didnt they? then most of the word draggers dieded

I remember this from "Take 30" a TV show in the '60's. The woman is Adrienne Clarkson, who later became the Governor-General for Canada. Paul Jones was lead singer for Manfred Mann and was not the bassist, John Paul Jones, for Led Zep. He said to friends that he was leaving Manfred Mann, because he was tired of people calling him Manfred.
