that was sort of boring. and probably irritating if you were stuck in the traffic. parliament square was better.

It was the most incredible thing ever. The noise! It ricocheted off the buildings and was so loud. We woke up to it at 7:45am. It was even more surreal to see the total absence of traffic on this stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road. The police had stopped traffic just at the Burj Khalifa interchange (you can just catch a glimpse of the police cars holding back traffic before the car first turns).
