@4:13. My Mother's Great grandfather is in that picture but I don't know which one. He was there when it was announces while speaking about the US Black ships, "You cannot fight a Dragon with a blade of grass". After that, wealthy Samurai families sent their children to the West to study Western ways. That is how my mother ended up being born in England.
