In one of our smoke rooms we have a 3hp Papst exhaust fan which is extremely quiet but so powerful it'll suck the door shut if you're not careful. The negative pressure created by the fan can be felt quite strongly.

Ilg's are industructable.They wer one of the best vent fans ever made.Even the factory is still standing.

Where would I have the best chance of finding one of these fans? I've been checking eBay for a while now and none have come up.
I seriously want one of these ILG fans. The blade design is awesome and the fans appears to be quiet, powerful, and durable. Unlike anything sold today, which is mostly junk.

Wow, very quiet. I wouid like to get the 24 inch type Q like the one you have there. I already have the much earlyer type W one yes But I want to get the propeller one as well. :P
