My last project in my first year of graphic design at nottingham trent uni. Its a cut scene from an interactive learning experience aimed at teaching keystage 3 students about british history. The motifs are all elements from the British National curriculm; the rat represents the plague, the fireworks - the gun powder plot, the lamp - the industrial revolution and the bombs - the 2nd world war. Its all encapsulated within a jules verne time machine theme. Created using photoshop, illustrator and after effects. The track is "modron cube" by Mark morgan, from the Black isle game - Planescape:Torment.

  • Great Project, Looks amazing

  • nicely done dude! nice and crisp shapes. I really like the feel too

    (5 stars btw)

as far as changes, id kind of like to see the rocket fly less mechanically

also the second bomb falling is a little weird while its just sitting at the top, but you may be going for the look as its being dropped

also regarding the bombs, you don't follow thru on the rotation, it kind of snaps to a stop right before it falls of screen

  • good looking project

you sure you don't mean "rube goldberg inspired?"

  • YOu have to be careful with easing
