@pooczar i agree with everything you said except that crying after defeat is a cultural thing. Its not a Japanese thing anymore than it is a part of the human condition. Sure what is frowned upon in one culture over another is relevent, but he the most sginificant factor is these are all KIDS fighting. Kids cry when they lose because they arent jaded to the world and still believe in that they can be great and defeat is so heartbreaking.

I cried when I lost my division championship in wrestling my senior year in high school. Guarantee no one would dare call me a girl. And only an athlete would understand the feeling.

...... it's pretty apparent that you are ignorant to differences in culture. Some Japanese fighters cry when they lose sometimes, thats because they put everything the have into their fight and its not frowned upon over there.
