Concrete Stairs by http://www.thefamilyguyscarpentry.com

These stairs were built for the biggest house I have ever had the privilege to stand in. These stairs were part of a job of my company expanding the front porch to accommodate a larger and heavier stone balcony that was a design change. The original porch had to be expanded by 24 inches all around with new footings and walls to support and carry the load of the expanded areas and the columns above it.

The stairs projected 3 ways for the main set and the side stairs were a small set to accommodate the drop in grade from the door step. Both sets of stairs were to be covered with flagstone at a later date so the finish of the concrete did not require any special touches. Each step had a luxurious 16 inch run for a 7 inch rise.
