Day Five, Monday 31st August 2010, of the eleventh annual Film4 FrightFest, held at the Empire Leicester Square. It may be the last day of the festival, but it's far from the least, as a packed day brings us an assortment of exclusive premieres. Jake West and Marc Morris deliver their documentary on the controversy surrounding the so-called Video Nasties of the early eighties, followed by a panel discussion featuring, among others, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre director Tobe Hooper and David Hyman of the BBFC; Simon Rumley returns to FrightFest for the first time since 2006 with his new gritty revenge thriller Red White & Blue, starring Noah Taylor, Amanda Fuller and Marc Senter; the Ford brothers, Jon and Howard, bring us The Dead, their African zombie movie twenty years in the making; Andrew Lincoln makes a surprise appearance for an exclusive look at his new FX series The Walking Dead; and Eli Roth is at FrightFest for the first time in person to celebrate the European premiere of The Last Exorcism, directed by Daniel Stamm and starring Patrick Fabian, Iris Bahr and a terrifying Ashley Bell.
