@schismc Drop Dead Legs has never been performed live, just a tiny snippet from Ed on the 2004 tour at soundcheck.

@eltiogamboin Yes, with a different singer and guitar player. Check out theatomicpunks website.

Is this a high school party band? This is a stretch to say this is a cover of Drop Dead Legs.
The tempo is too slow. The guitar electronics are wrong. The chords are wrong. The bass didn't sound right as well.

@TruthAxe Which chords are wrong? The tempo is at worst 2 bpm slower than the album. Van Halen themselves played live at a slower tempo on certain songs throughout their career. The guitar electronics are the same, but he tone is more distorted. Ed's live tone varies from show to show and never sounds exactly like the album. The amp is a Peavey 5150 II. Drop Dead Legs was rarely (if ever) played live by Van Halen. Please point us in the right direction of a better live version.
