Mazdaspeed 3 with COBB sri

The only modification so far is a Cobb Tuning short ram intake.

Oh man that sounds nice!!! I'm thinking of getting this for my 2010. I'd prefer the CP-e nano SRI but it's on huge backorder. This one looks really good though. I'm slightly worried about CEL. Anyone have advice or comments?

@asarin86 Thanks for the quick response. I have a couple questions actually. What kind of power are you feeling from it in terms of overall power and turbo spool?@ What rpms. Like can you describe the power output in comparison to stock... Also, does the ECU need calibration? Let's say I install the part and turn the engine on. Does the computer automatically adjust to it? Thanks!!

yo, the power is definitely noticeable ( i think they quote around a 12hp gain), but you can definitely feel it...and the sound is just a night and day difference. You need to disconnect your battery while you install it, that will reset the ECU, so when you hook it back up and start it you will be good to go. It will kind of have a re-learning process though so you may not get the full effect of the SRI till the first 50 or so miles....you will love it though!

No CELs on my 2010 MS3 with Cobb SRI. Only light that comes on now is traction control.

@AntowQa Just get a Cobb Acessport tuner and you can remove your SRI related CEL's :P
