After fourteen secounds I paused the video. I've read about Foie Gras, and it disgusts me.

that's some fucked up shit right there!

I just hate these people.

The best part of this vid is when the worker stuffs the feedrod down the duck's troath, man pure pleasure to watch, I pray every morning to get a job there and emulate that worker....

In fact, this entire video was staged by PETA to try and vilify the duck company- the company brought the employees (who had been working for less than a month) to court and won. A stressed or hurt duck does NOT make good meat nor good foie gras, and therefore this does not make sense to any duck farmer. The real evil there is the misrepresentation for political purposes by PETA, whose real agenda is to ban all meats from our diets.

If any of you defend, or say this isn't a representative of the industry, you are lying. Yes, I am called you liars. Anyone who profits from this kind of abuse is evil. Animals are sentient beings, they feel pain, understand torture which is what this WHOLE process is, torture. Forced fed until you can't even hold your head up anymore? FFS, people, grab a brain. This is ALL SO EVIL, CRUEL AND WRONG. IYou are ALL Evil Bastards if you perpetuate this industry.

This is odd.... I really don't get the beginning sequence. What's the point of killing and throwing out the ducklings? It makes me think this whole video is staged in some way. Maybe if they had some notes that explained what was going on and why these people were doing such cruel, useless things it would be easier to understand.
These guys are menacing, disgusting people - but they are not representative of people producing foie gras.
These are the sorts of people that give not only the food industry, but humanity as a whole a bad rep.

There are many things that don't make sense here. This business would be extremely unprofitable.
1. Killing chicks is unnecessary since they can be sold. Also, if the chicks were unwanted, why impregnate the duck?
2. Unsanitary conditions create waste in a lower quality foie gras and inability to sell the duck as meat.
3. What financial reason could there possibly be for abusing unnecessarily an animal? This seems overly sadistic.
4. The hanging ducks at the end should have been shocked first.
