Social Networking and happiness are directly correlated. This video blog is a follow up to my January 2008 video:

"Online Social Networking Revolution: Thinking Ahead"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5MP7Rsw5yo

This video is what I think now about integrating our offline ("real life") and online social networking lives and our personal happiness.

  • I love your video..Hope to find more uploads from you.

  • @joyhuntsman86 Thanks, I'm working on some more videos now.

  • Wow! You have been busy here, haven't you!

This is a favorite, and the video you posted before

was really informative for me~ Excellent.

I need to go, but saw you posted yesterday. Hope to catch up before I leave for home! ~Heidi

  • I'm surprised you found this, it must have been in your sub box. I made my channel dark yesterday. Hardly anyone watches and the video I posted a few days ago only got 28 views.

Am glad you like it though, it's available on my website blog. I'll still post there, I upload mostly on Vimeo now and use embed code onto blog and my vimeo channel is public.

  • I've been thinking so much about this notion of 100 you talk about. Hearing you talk about confirmed some of my own thoughts. Thank for sharing.

  • @livelifealwaystoo thanks, I appreciate that. I've worked to get better in both presentation and editing.

  • @RiddleSpider I work at home and even when I interact with adults outside of it sometimes I think I'm interacting with kids. Seriously, I get what you mean, twitter actually replaced what I was missing in the interaction that used to be on YouTube. Actually in many ways it's better because it crosses a lot of my social networks.

I grew up in a small community and Phoenix used to be much smaller when I was in high school and college...I dreamed of something like the internet back then.

  • @twish1999 I like that too! I travel by internet now. You'll probably like the video I'm editing now that is a trip on the Phoenix Light Rail.

  • I used to work outside the home, I interacted with adults all day long. Then when I had children and decided to stay home with them my social network slowly fell apart (small town). When I finally "found" the community on YT and then on Twitter I KNOW that my happiness increased. I could still be w/my children but I could also have adult interaction (even if alot of it is childish AKA fun)

  • Yeah, srsly. Your vlogs are always good and getting better.
