he is one of the best singers i have ever heard,
and his very first performance where he sung "If tomorrow never comes" by Garth Brooks was one of the most emotional performances i have ever seen/heard.
I litterally had tears coming to my eyes.
long story short, yes he deserved to win. he is an aboslutely amazing performer and he really showed that a first impression really doesn't tell you much...
im so proud of him for making it as far as he did. he is such a wonderful performer.
