Running the "Mini Maltese Magnum Missile" with steering, throttle and a jack plate!

Round 2 of speed testing in my boat! Its pretty much in its final form minus the hatch cover and the new gas tank (fuel pump setup as opposed to pressure tank so I can fit the cover on). Was a fun project to build and even more fun to drive!

  • @magicdaveable Looks too small to be one of them.

  • Really cool, if I had space I'd build me one of these. I think I'd go with a styro-foam shaped hull with the ribs (for lack of a better word I'm not up on boating terms) out of plywood and glass the whole thing. A big jetski motor and jet would be pretty cool too to do to one of these. Very nice job man, I'm sure that scoots real good!

  • Looks like one of the Finger Lakes.

  • Very nice :0)

  • @jwandhistools haha that would be nice. My dad and I mounted a seat from a fishing boat onto a board that can be locked in or removed from my boat. Faster and more nimble without it but very comfortable! You can buy a kit with all the pieces pre-cut and plans, however my woodworking teacher made me trace out all the pieces and make them myself. Challenging but very fun to build!

  • @MovieMakerKeith Oh wait, I just looked again and saw where you got the plans from. Looks like a good deal. Wonder if he has plans for bucket seats? hehe..

  • @MovieMakerKeith I looked at the build vid. Looks like it took some real skill to make that thing. Were there plans for this, or did you just wing it? I want to build bucket seats for my jet, but don't know where to start.
