  • How would you do this in Ubuntu? Is there git gui thing for Ubuntu?

  • Thanks, cdtdoug. I was just using the command line git, but this still very helpful. Keep up the good work!

  • Useful demo, thanks.

  • Alternatively, I have a workspace in which I keep many types of projects, some in Git, some under SVN. In this case, use the ${project_loc} to open the Git repository for that project, rather than the whole workspace.

  • This doesn't seem to work anymore? It opens just the GUI without considering the path. I have to manually open the working directory.

  • thank you very much for this.

  • Thank you thank you

  • nice, like the use of external tools

  • Was a great help -- thanks!
