Honestly it is true that men in general think that lighter skin is more attractive, think about it there's is no doubt about it and "dark" is a sin of some kind because as Americans you are put into societies ways thinking that TV, Music ETC say that the skin color "light" is better. Not necessarily but straight truth to most people if you put a ugly light person vs a beautiful "dark" person they will always go to light skin, but you will only see a difference if you free mind! People tend to find certain physical traits to be attractive. Get over it. Men tend to prefer long hair, slender build, and a particular hip-to-waist ratio in women. Get over it. Women prefer guys who still have their hair and are tall. Get over it. And yes, people typically prefer a lighter skin tone. Again, GET OVER IT! Why would someone think people's preferences in physical traits would & should arbitrarily exclude skin tone - the most recognizable physical trait of all? Be rational.
