Hi tech state of the art motors best in the world

@Tiberiusduck what do you just sit home all week copying and pasting the same comment trying to pretend you are intelligent? Sad Bro....Sad
-
@scarcat just my opinion... i know polaris is like the only american atv maker but they are like kinda crappy. for once id rather have something that was imported.
-
is this a factory line for tractor engines or motorcycle engines? i cant tell.
-
I like Harleys, and have relatives who own them.
But watching this, and seeing them assemble the emgine dry, i can see why they always leak oil. Can you imagine GM,Ford, or Dodge assemblying engines dry? Then running them on a dyno only after pumging some oil in them? maybe motorcyles follow a different rule than car engine building?

Great clip too bad the sound quality is not that great.
-
@scarcat I have always put engines together with a thin coat of oil on the cylinder walls. rings seat just fine aslong as you dont use a molly base grease.
-
Um verdadeiro show.

BRING BACK THE SHOVELHEAD!!! D:<

Great video - love harleys
i was allways tought that when putting a motor together you had to liberally smear oil all over the pieces as to not put them together dry. What do you motor heads think?

@todd19631 I was taught that oil is important, but not for pistons. The rings need to set within dry to seal properly. I could, of course, have been misinformed.

Victory Cycles are also built by Americans for Americans. They're owned by Polaris (the fellas that make skidoos). I also hear they just bought the Indian brand.
