Batch of Four F-16's fighter jets joins Pakistan Air Force - June 28, 2008

Impressive ceremony for handing over of four F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan Air Force was held at PAF Base Musahaf (Sargodha). Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Operations), Pakistan Air Force received the Fighting Falcons from Lt. General Gary L. North, Commander 9th Air Force and USAF Central Command. Four Aircrafts have already arrived in Pakistan. These aircrafts which arrived today have the same operational capability as of the already possessed F-16s by the PAF. The last batch of remaining four F-16s would be handed over to PAF on 28th July, 2008. A contingent of high ranking officials from Air Forces of Pakistan and US were also present on the occasion.

in the end of this year09 we will get 18 new f:16 52+ the same confuguration which israel is using.and these old f:16 are gradually going for upgradtion in turkey and then they will competing with new f:16 block52+.we have total 36 f:16 option for block 52+.and also in this year we are getting j:10 b with t.v.c cft etc etc.this is clear threat to indian su:30 mki and who cars about indian as we alreay know there air force record no worries we know they scare to die .and our motto is die young.

Man am a great fan of PAF but I feel a little bit ashamed after seeing this video that how the senior most officials of our elite air force were looking like a beggars because of immense smile on their faces on receiving the documents. We just we cant build of our own F-16s???... Just look at the posture of the US pilots and military officials, how proud would they be feeling on distributing a home made technology.

u are kidding me my friend aim 9x this is the latest missile so far in aim series.pak is offered for aim 9m 8/9.i dont think 9x is aviable for pakistan.

cant tell online how i know, but I KNOW. he budget was allocated from the millitary aid that we were getting, now thanks to zardari and biden/boucher, the delivery has been halted. it was a big sale.however, we already have the aim-9x and some amraam missiles. the JHMCS, HARMs, HTS and sniper XR pod are still undelivered. nevertheless we have got ATLIS-3 targeting pods.

yer right man. well, after the likes of tanvir mahmood ahmed its very hard for someone to be as impressive as he was. harder still, considering that rao qamar suleman was appointed by zardari. it had to be someone obviously who was more qulible

nothing impressive about this ceremony. cant believe this little lender is our new air chief. Air Marshal Shahid Latif was the ideal choice, way better pilot and also a sword of honor winner for his course but such is our fate that the real professional are passed for pseudos like Rao Qamar. He is very unimpressive. check the size of the american General and look at this lil chooch.
