but it got some great flying scenes i'll give it that.

anyone know if the appache simulator the one we see the screen shots of is the real deal??

haha you have to remember...the military contracts the lowest bidder for everything. and the computer Didn't advance much in the 80's, it started to take off in the 90's.

Also that simulator is classified along with the bird, so you really think the military would let someone video tape it? lol

same screen writers as top gun...not a rip off. They just wanted one for the army.

Top Gun had against Russia.

this is against drug cartel. the only difference is that its one villain instead of the entire country

@sonofrattler We had some brief discussion on the topic, as well as on this movie, but we didn't delve particularly deep into history, mostly because the Apache course is compressed enough as it is, although I suspect that our IPs may be too proud to talk about the fact that the history of their unit involves anything other than a tandem-seat gunship...

First order of business is the interior check... Then start the APU, then load the mission data, and boresight the IHADSS, which coincidentally, neither of them used at all ;)
