@SteeleMiles1 Ok thanks haha i understood the higher palm muting part but never knew about the octaves thats pretty sweet. and yea i agree it sets bands apart from one another nicely.
-
@person8132 and how attack attack has anything to do with djent and how what you think is the way kids should be? just saying, i aint emo or shit but just saying..
-
@pametalfan95 The "Djent" movement is where bands/artists play a type of chord and with the octave of a power chord. Its palmuted a little bit higher from a regular palm mute to get a nice tight sound. But you also need certain gear to make a sound like that. It also consists of polyrythems and or off beat guitar riffs, drums tracks etc. Its slowly evolving into a genre. I consider it a genre myself cause it helps classify progressive metal bands differently than others.

@RockMuzik he uses an 8 string guitar so probably like drop f.
-
Any one know what tuning this is on?
-
What's the "djent" movement? Is it bands that play lower tunings with 7-8 string guitars?

@person8132 i like attack attack and i like whitechapel...i like electrocore and deathcore equally, i even enjoy listening to wiz khalifa and shufflen to party rock anthem....and im listening to this song to enjoy the brutalness of this song then listen to ppl complain about music and shit....ppl these days i swear to god -_- smdh
@Mattlarrivee What's wrong with the "djent" movement. Seriously, I would much rather have kids want to play Meshuggah and act their gender, etc. than play Attack Attack! and swoop their hair.
