When dairy products go on sale, most of them can be kept in the freezer with out much change to the texture. Some exceptions are: cream cheezes, cottage cheese, sour cream and yogurts - but milk, buttermilk, butter and some cheeze can be frozen! Take a look!

@sophisticatedtw ~ Thank YOU for your encouraging comment! I'm glad you like the suggestions. We have 3 gallons of milk in the freezer now that we got when they were on sale for $2.50 a gallon. It's up to almost $4 again.... so we're set for a while. We always half that milk with instant milk to so it's a double stretcher. (o:

@crewlla ~ I do believe all milk in the US is homogenized....unless it is raw. Which raw milk is illegal to seel for human consumption in most states...
