I also took note that Annie's surname, Cresta, is of Spanish origin. So, it is plausible that Mags is speaking Spanish and Finnick and Annie are bilingual.

  • I always wondered about that

  • Thats a very interesting theory!Im mexican-american myself and well I mean the spanish language is used in many many places in the u.s places like texas, florida, new york, california,&ect. And throught out most of america. Thats pretty interesting & it kinda makes more sense on how finick understands both languages cuz im bilingual myself! And theycan also be from othe places aswell such as puertorico, cuba, or dom.rep.! So I think its cool theory cuz u.s. ismadeup of people from all over!!

  • This was very interesting. But, where did you find out that the Capitol made people speak English?
